My career has taken me through a diverse range of experiences in both the public and private sectors. I've had the privilege of working in federal, state, and municipal government roles, as well as holding leadership positions at tech giants like Dropbox and Figma. On the investment side, I've been involved with Bridgewater Associates, Atomic VC, and a single family office.
My journey started as an early member of Dropbox's security team, where I tackled emerging challenges in data regulation and privacy. Later on, I served as Chief of Staff, overseeing legal, policy, and security operations. Along the way, I've trained security professionals at the SANS Institute and contributed research to Harvard Kennedy School’s Belfer Center and Berkman Klein Center.
During the pandemic, I joined a COVID-19 task force at the U.S. Small Business Administration, launching the Paycheck Protection Program, which provided $800 billion in critical loans to small businesses. Following that, I served as Chief Data Officer for the City of San Jose, where I secured over $1 million to enhance city services through data analytics.
I’m proud to be the first person in my family to earn a high school and college degree. I got my MBA from Harvard Business School, where I met Alex, and earned my B.A. in Economics from Wellesley College.
